W&H Systems announces new division: Professional Services Group
W&H Systems, Inc, announces the creation of a new division, the Professional Services Group (PSG), dedicated to bringing superior services and support to clients under the strategic direction of Jim McLafferty as Director. The Professional Services Group brings together existing technical support, parts, maintenance services, allied products, and post-sales support functions under one umbrella to maximize customers’ long-term satisfaction. As Director, Jim McLafferty will be responsible for expanding relationships with new and existing clients, increasing the group’s capabilities and offerings, and identifying opportunities to increase customer satisfaction.
“This organizational change bolsters our company-wide mission to continually improve our clients’ operations with state-of-the-art material handling automation equipment, advanced processes, and superior support services,” said Chris Castaldi, Director of Business Development, W&H Systems.
Jim McLafferty has over 25 years of experience in the material handling industry in engineering, management and business development roles. Prior to joining W&H, Jim was a principal owner for 12 years at a leading consulting and engineering firm that delivered services to material handling system providers and end users. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA in Strategic Management from Rutgers University.
Along with the new division, Rudi Lueg has been promoted to VP of Business Development reporting to President Don Betman. Rudi will be responsible for driving strategic business deals and partnerships across various industries with key customers, innovation partners, strategic accounts, and industry influencers.
“Rudi shares the company’s focus on bringing leading edge material handling automation technology and software to meet clients needs and drive their success,” said Donald Betman, President of W&H Systems. “His experience uniquely positions him to lead W&H’s business development efforts, and he is a great addition to our senior leadership team.”
Rudi Lueg has a proven track record of more than 25 years in the material handling industry, with a key focus on omni-channel retailing and fulfillment processes and equipment. He started his career as a Software Engineer in Germany. His role as President of the Real Time Integration (RTI) division for a Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) company in Florida led to strong leadership and consultative skills for helping clients transform their supply chains into a competitive advantage. Rudi holds a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering and Information Technology from the Georg Simon Ohm University (Germany).
Both of these significant changes poise W&H Systems as a competitive force in the omni-channel retail, wine & spirits, and food & beverage markets.
