TVH sponsors KC’s Got Talent to raise money for WEN
TVH in the Americas (TVH), provider of quality replacement parts and accessories for the material handling and industrial equipment industry, is sponsoring the 6th Annual KCs Got Talent fundraiser at Boulevard Brewing Company on November 10th. All proceeds from the event will go to the Women’s Employment Network (WEN), an organization that helps women build their careers and encourage happy financial futures.
As a sponsor, TVH will send one employee to the show to perform. In order to determine who would showcase their talent, TVH held its own talent show at the Olathe headquarters. There were three contestants who all performed incredible talents such as rapping, singing, and even playing instruments. In the end, Dmitri Kekos who played acoustic guitar and sang, “Sydney, I’ll Come Running” by Brett Dennen, was chosen to represent TVH at the WEN fundraiser.
The Women’s Employment Network is a local Kansas City nonprofit that offers job training and several other useful services to help women not only get a job but succeed and become economically independent. Some of the services WEN provides to the community are career exploration, financial coaching and credit building, and a variety of programs like job search assistance and employment prep.
