Multi-Conveyor receives second ACUITY Safety Achievement Award
Multi-Conveyor LLC was presented with the ACUITY Safety Award for businesses
that exemplify the partnership with ACUITY that helps ensure a safe work place.
The plaque was presented by Gwendolyn Arps, Sr. Loss Control Representative at ACUITY, to Joe Miller, Operations Manager, Janice Wuestneck, Safety Coordinator, and Ed Doe, Owner of Multi- Conveyor LLC in Winneconne, Wisconsin. The award presentation was also accompanied by Tom Paroubek of the Paroubek Insurance Agency of DePere.
Ms. Arps of ACUITY adds, “Only 3% of our entire business sector of clients even qualify
for this impressive honor. It is hard enough for most companies to qualify for an initial awardmuch less a prominent successive recognition. ” At Multi-Conveyor, safety is taught to every employee working on the manufacturing floor or in the offices of the entire 60,000 sq. ft. facility. Factors that qualified Multi-Conveyor for this award include absolute minimal employee loss-time accidents, a meticulous working environment, and a genuine concern for the well-being of their employees. Multi-Conveyor’s safety record also contributed towards an excellent EMR(Experience Modification Rate), a rating used by the insurance industry to determine worker’s compensation rates.
At Multi-Conveyor, we pride ourselves on keeping our employees’ best interests at heart which is why we take time and effort for education safety,” says Ms. Wuestneck. “We are very excited to be recognized for a second Safety Achieve Award”. Jan not only spearheads policies but also oversees OSHA requirements for the company. “The ACUITY Safety Award is a testament to the commitment to the overall work ethics practiced by
our employees as they apply safety principles and continue their dedication to the programs we’ve put in place,” explains Joe Miller, Operations Manager. “In our industry, workplace safety hazards are subject to continual change based on our current projects. It requires a great deal of skill and effort by our Safety Team to continually identify and react to new situations.”
