Johnson Controls named to 2015 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations Index
Johnson Controls, a global multi-industrial company, is again being included in the Corporate Knights 2015 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations Index. Companies named to the Global 100 index are the top overall sustainability performers in their respective industrial sectors, selected from a starting universe of 4,609 listed companies with a market capitalization greater than $2 billion (USD). The Global 100 is determined using twelve quantitative sustainability indicators.
“Our selection to the Global 100 is a testament to the successful contributions of our 170,000 employees around the globe who demonstrate the value of sustainability in their work every day,” said Grady Crosby, vice president public affairs and chief diversity officer of Johnson Controls.
Johnson Controls has been named to this elite list five times since inception in 2005. Corporate Knights unveiled its list at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Johnson Controls is a Strategic Partner of the World Economic Forum.
