Hyster executive recognized for supply chain leadership
Hyster Company announces that Brett Schemerhorn, President of Big Trucks, Americas, has been named to the 2015 list of Pros to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive. An influential leader and team builder, Schemerhorn has nearly 20 years of experience in the materials handling industry. He joined the company as an inventory analyst in 1995, and has worked his way through a series of increasingly significant positions. As President of Big Trucks, Americas, Schemerhorn leads the big trucks team, which is focused on meeting the specialized materials handling needs of customers in demanding industries such as metals, mining, lumber, concrete and intermodal.
Schemerhorn has leveraged his experience in demand analysis, flow optimization and supply chain knowledge to drive value and reduce operating costs for critical market segments. An out-of-the-box thinker, he is keenly aware of the challenges customers face and works with his team to implement customized ideas to help them achieve operational success.
