Clark enhances engineering capabilities with new hire
CLARK Material Handing Company, in cooperation with CLARK Material Handling International, announced the creation of a worldwide product engineering group. To lead this group, Chuck Moratz has been promoted to senior vice president of Global Engineering, reporting to Dennis Lawrence, President & CEO of CLARK. In this new role, Chuck will be responsible for overseeing and directing all engineering efforts worldwide. He will provide strategic leadership, project management accountability and direction for all engineering functions globally. By integrating CLARK’s worldwide engineering efforts into one cohesive team, CLARK and its affiliates will be better positioned to focus on continuous improvement in all areas of engineering, product competitiveness through design optimization, resource leveraging, safety, design and testing standards, cost of ownership, advanced technologies, and product and process standardization.
Chuck has nearly 20 years of engineering and management experience with CLARK. His proven successes as a senior leader in the organization and his extensive knowledge of our products, industry and global engineering practices will serve him well in this new position.
As C.O.O of CLARK for the past three years and part of the CLARK management team for the past 10 years, Chuck has been instrumental in the growth and success of CLARK. “We are so proud to appoint Chuck to this very important position and know he will bring the same level of excellence to this new role as he has to his other roles throughout his career at CLARK. Chuck is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point where he earned a B.S. degree in Engineering, and of Golden Gate University in San Francisco where he earned an MBA degree.
