Bluff Mfg donates technology equipment

Bluff Manufacturing, provider of material handling and warehouse safety equipment to companies throughout the U.S, Mexico, Canada, Caribbean and South America, recently donated technology equipment to The Ladder Alliance, a non-profit organization in Fort Worth that helps female victims of domestic violence and low-income women to lead independent and successful lives.

By providing quality training in small group environments and fostering a culture for students to develop professional skills and image, The Ladder Alliance provides women a safe environment to claim independence. Working to help their mission succeed, Bluff Manufacturing gave the organization computers, printers, computer accessories and servers. This donation will help programs such as The Ladder Alliance’s GED preparation course and expanded computer skills program.

“We are so grateful to Bluff Manufacturing for their very generous donation. Some of the donated desktops will be given to graduates who earn the designation of “Top of the Ladder,” said Sharon Cox, Executive Director of The Ladder Alliance. Graduates earn this designation through exemplary performance in the program. Being able to “earn” these computers allows them to practice the skills they have learned in the program. For these graduates that have school age children, having a computer helps them with necessary homework as well.”

“We have a strong commitment to helping our community. Providing Ladder Alliance with computer equipment that they can use in their training programs meets our mission to be an education provider for our partners, customers and community. We are happy to be able to support Ladder Alliance in their efforts,” says Andrea Curreri, President of Bluff Manufacturing.
