Wheel weighing scale prevents axle overloading and tire
A portable wheel weighing scale that helps prevent the overloading of axles on Motorhomes, RVs, trailers and trucks, especially those with fifth wheels, is available from Alliance Scale, Inc. of Canton, Massachusetts. The Alliance/CAS wheel weighing scale provides an accurate way to assure that loads are balanced and axles are not being overloaded on vehicles to prevent uneven tire wear and poor handling. Made of rugged cast aluminum with built-in ramps, users can drive each wheel over the scale separately and scales can be linked to weigh an entire multi-axle vehicle at once. Available in 10,000- and 20,000 lbs. single- and double-width models, the Alliance/CAS wheel weighing scale is accurate to 1% of vehicle weight and provides filtering to compensate for vibrations. Battery or AC powered, each scale has a 1” LCD display to show individual or total weight in pounds or kilograms and can run up to 20 hours on a single charge.
