Jamco first to achieve updated FM approvals
Jamco Products, designer and manufacturer of heavy-duty, steel material handling carts, storage containers and safety cabinets used across many markets, announced that their line of safety flammable cabinets are now certified to the new FM approvals Class 6050 – storage cabinets for ignitable (flammable) liquids. These cabinets are designed to safely store and protect flammable liquids. Factory Mutual (FM) Global sets the industry standard with an independent 5 step product testing process to ensure approved products meet the highest safety standards. In addition, these cabinets also meet OSHA and NFPA code 30 standards, and are manufactured in the USA.
“To our customers, FM certification instills confidence that our cabinets will perform as expected when the need arises,” says Jamco Director of Operations, Chad Gunder. “We know one of the main factors influencing the purchase of a safety flammable cabinet is FM Certification. We here at Jamco are incredibly proud to be the first, and currently the only, manufacturer to achieve the new, higher standard.”
Jamco Safety Flammable Cabinets feature all-welded double-wall 18 gauge construction with 1-1/2″ insulating air space. Doors are double-walled 14 gauge outside and 18 gauge inside.
