Brady announces a new GHS label guide
Brady, provider of product and facility identification solutions, announced its GHS Label Guide. To align chemical container labeling with OSHA’s updated Hazard Communication (HazCom) Standard and the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), this guide includes explanations of label components, an example of an accurate label, and pictogram uses and meanings. “With changes to the format of chemical container labels, it’s important for your team to be familiar with creating and reading a compliant label – and that’s where this new label guide can help,” says Tom Smith, product marketing specialist for Brady. “It explains and identifies the six elements of a GHS label, and then describes each of the pictograms and their uses.
