TMSA awards leading industry executives with stand-out recognition
The Transportation Marketing and Sales Association (TMSA) announced the winners of its top transportation executive awards at the Compass Awards Gala, held during the annual conference on June 9-11, 2013. These awards celebrate stand-out thought leaders that have recognizable abilities to drive opportunity and growth within the transportation industry.
Recognized for her demonstration of result-oriented leadership, professional excellence and marketing acumen within the industry, Jean Barnes, Director of Marketing at SMC³, received the TMSA Marketing Executive of the Year award. “I am humbled and very excited to receive this award from the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association. Being a member of this organization has afforded my team an inside view into marketing best practices in our industry. This award is a reflection of the awesome team surrounding me, and that is ultimately what creates success,” said Barnes.
Honored with the Sales Executive of the Year award, Brian Scott, Senior Vice President of CTSI-Global Transportation Management System, received this award for his instrumental industry role, dedication to continuous leadership and commitment to client satisfaction. “I am honored to be named the TMSA 2013 Sales Executive of the Year. Winning this prestigious transportation award validates the hard work put in by the CTSI-Global sales and marketing team over the past year,” said Scott.
