GRI Wins MHI Innovation Award for ULTIMATE GREEN XT at ProMat  2025

GRI (Global Rubber Industries) has announced that it was awarded the prestigious MHI Innovation Award for Best Innovation in Sustainability at ProMat 2025’s Industry Night held on March 19th, recognizing the ULTIMATE GREEN XT as the world’s most sustainable Material Handling tire, made with 93.5% sustainable and bio-sourced materials.

This award was presented after a rigorous judging process, where a panel of industry leaders,  technical experts, and sustainability advocates evaluated sustainable innovations that are transforming the Material Handling industry. The recognition of the ULTIMATE GREEN XT  marks not just an achievement for GRI, but a pivotal moment in shaping a greener, more earth-friendly future for the Material Handling industry in the United States and beyond.

A Journey of Hard Work, Innovation & Purpose

Bringing the ULTIMATE GREEN XT to life was a journey fueled by relentless dedication,  research, and an unwavering belief that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand. The tire is the result of years of hard work, innovation, and a commitment to redefining industry standards, ensuring businesses can operate with greater efficiency while reducing their environmental footprint. Manufactured at GRI’s state-of-the-art production plants in Sri Lanka,  the ULTIMATE GREEN XT sets a new benchmark in sustainable Material Handling by integrating environment-friendly raw materials, an energy-efficient production process, and exceptional durability that extends tire life and reduces waste.

More importantly, the ULTIMATE GREEN XT proves that going green doesn’t mean compromising on strength, resilience, or reliability. Designed for exceptional durability, energy efficiency, and superior handling, it redefines what businesses can expect from a sustainable tire.
