Georgia Logistics Summit moves date due to coronavirus
In light of concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus, commonly called the “coronavirus,” and out of an abundance of caution and respect for our guests, the annual Georgia Logistics Summit, initially scheduled for March 24, 2020, has been postponed to August 25, 2020.
A press release from Summit officials said, “Please know we did not make this decision lightly but out of respect for our audience and businesses facing difficult choices during this time. We have had a very positive response so far to our event in Macon, and we are confident that it will be a successful event at its new date. ”
The Summit location will remain the Macon Marriott City Center, and we hope to keep the schedule and agenda as close to the original format as possible. If you have already registered, your current registration will be valid on the new date, so if you still wish to attend, you don’t have to do anything.
If you have any questions or would like to make any changes to your registration, please contact Emily Butler at [email protected] or 912-966-7842. Summit officials will refund your registration cost if you are no longer able to attend.
We look forward to having you join us at the Logistics Summit at the Macon Marriott City Center on August 25.
