Abplanalp to speak about Increasing Manufacturing Performance at Sustainable Productivity Seminar
John Abplanalp, president & CEO of Tight Lines Advisors, will be speaking at the 2019 Sustainable Productivity Seminar on the topic of The Future of Productivity and Intelligent Automation in Manufacturing. An accomplished veteran of industrial manufacturing for more than 35 years before founding Tight Lines Advisors four years ago, Abplanalp served as CEO & President of Precision Valve Corporation from 2003 to 2013 and as Chairman of the Board from 2013 to 2015.
The Sustainable Productivity Seminar will be held on June 20, 2019, at the Top Golf facility, 8024 Savoy Corporate Drive, Charlotte, NC. Along with Tight Lines Advisors, the seminar is jointly hosted by K2, UiPath, and Discover Technologies. K2 and UiPath will be presenting on Digital Process Automation (DPA) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), supported by examples from Discover Technologies of how these technologies positively impact processes. Mr. Abplanalp is scheduled to speak at 2:45 p.m. on the principles and implementation of intelligent manufacturing with a question and answer session following the presentation.
Business executives such as CEOs, CFOs, plant managers, plant controllers and heads of QC whose workforces exceed 1,000 will find a wealth of knowledge and information that can positively affect their organization’s operational efficiency and profitability. The event will also provide important insights and tactical information to CIOs, program manager, IT directors and directors of application development.
A central component of Mr. Abplanalp’s speech will be The Performance Accelerator™, Tight Lines Advisors’ proprietary productivity system. “It’s a radical departure from the traditional, time-worn approaches of the past,” Abplanalp explains. “This innovative methodology offers a principled operating approach, which establishes mutually beneficial relationships among a company’s stakeholders resulting in sustainable growth and profitability.”
Attendees at the seminar will learn about the five-phase structure Performance Accelerator and its unique “inside-out” approach. Each of the phases follows a clearly defined focus and stakeholder-centric process for achieving tangible results and measurable progress, creating a more time-efficient, profitable and competitively positioned organization.
Implementing the process dramatically affects sustainable organizational performance, including health and safety cost reductions, improvements in inventory, reductions in energy consumption, improvements in downstream operations, reduction in maintenance and equipment repairs, reduced external customer complaints, and an increase in customer satisfaction, all without the need for increased capital expenditures.
Organizational leaders unable to attend the event in Charlotte are encouraged to contact Tight Lines Advisors directly for future renditions of this event.
