2025 PTDA Foundation Scholarships focus on building a strong talent pipeline for PT/MC Industry

The PTDA Foundation has announced the launch of the second year of its scholarship program. The demand for talented individuals has increased as the PT/MC industry evolves and technology advances. Building on its initial success, the scholarship program continues to empower and support the next generation of PT/MC professionals by providing scholarships for both students and employees.

Matthew Pavlinsky“We’re excited to offer these scholarships once again, providing crucial financial support to help cultivate a strong reserve of talent, drive industry growth and boost expertise,” says 2025 PTDA Foundation President Matt Pavlinsky, Applied Industrial Technologies. “By targeting individuals with a proven interest in the PT/MC industry or related fields, these scholarships will help attract qualified candidates and expand our candidate pool.”

The student scholarship offers financial support to individuals considering or currently enrolled in a PT/MC or related field program. Applicants must be currently enrolled or recently accepted into a trade school, technical school, community college or a four-year university and pursuing studies in a field relevant to the PT/MC industry. Up to five $3,000 scholarships will be awarded.

The employee scholarship provides financial assistance to those currently employed full-time at a PT/MC distributor or manufacturer in North America. Eligible applicants must be enrolled or recently accepted as a student in a trade school, technical school, community college or university, continuing education program or pursuing an industry-relevant professional certification. Additionally, applicants must be studying power transmission or motion control related fields in engineering, technology or business. Up to four $2,500 scholarships will be awarded.
