Wolter Power Systems appoints new vice president – general manager
Wolter Power Systems, a member of Wolter Group LLC, is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Rubens as vice president – general manager. He replaces Dan Martin who has retired after 16 years with the company.
Rubens graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and holds 19 years’ industry knowledge and expertise gained through a variety of positions with leading industry players. His experience includes five years with Loftin Equipment, a Kohler distributor located in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by over 11 years at Cummins Rocky Mountain, as the southern division regional manager for branches in Phoenix and Las Vegas.
After moving back to the Midwest, Rubens held the position of vice president of sales-Standby Generator Group for Briggs & Stratton before joining Wolter Power Systems one year ago as vice president of sales. In his new role, Rubens quickly proved he was prepared for the fast-track of transitioning into the new vice president – general manager role for Wolter Power Systems, upon Martin’s retirement.
