American Logistics Aid Network needs your help.
American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) whose mission it is to save lives and reduce suffering for disaster survivors, needs your help. There are two areas of need in our country for donated items only, for sale items will not be considered.
1. Groups responding to the Valley Fire, in northern California, are in need of packaging materials and pallet jacks so that they can quickly get donated items (clothing, food, hygiene, cleaning supplies, etc.) to those who’ve lost their homes. The need is as follows:
- 20 cases (4 rolls per case, 18″ x 1,500′) of stretch wrap
- 20 cases of packing tape (2″ x 55 yd)
- 6 pallet jacks
2. A food bank in Columbia, SC, which has seen a significant increase in both donated food and demand for the same, is looking for some rollers to assist in expediting the assembly of food boxes for flood survivors. They would like three sixteen foot sections.
