TVH increases Recycling Efforts
TVH in the Americas (TVH), a leading provider of quality replacement parts and accessories for the material handling and equipment industries, is proud to announce that it has increased its sustainable practices and has recycled more than 389 tons of paper, cardboard and other recyclable materials in 2017. This number is an increase of almost 20 tons from the previous year.
With 14 locations in the Americas, TVH knows that by making even one small change that they can make a big impact on the local community and the surrounding environment. Through its recycling efforts, one of the company’s many environmentally-friendly programs, TVH saved:
- 6,613 trees
- 2,723,000 gallons of water
- 1,556,000 kilowatt hours of electricity
- 1,283.7 cubic yards of landfill space
TVH is actively making choices to be a good corporate citizen and to lessen our impact on the environment by collecting more recyclable materials such as shrink-wrap, green strapping material, cardboard and more. We also strive to use eco-friendly or recycled materials whenever possible. In addition to its recycling efforts, TVH has implemented a lighting program that has reduced its carbon emissions by over 200 tons.
We know our customers are concerned with their environmental impact as well. In order to meet the growing demand for more environmentally friendly options, TVH has expanded its product offering to include a wide variety of eco-friendly products including a large offering of reconditioned parts, available for many different makes and models.
In 2018, TVH will continue to expand its product offerings as well as apply green processes at all of its locations to help reduce unnecessary waste and create a healthy environment for its employees.
