RIA announces three certifications
ASG Jergens, Edgewater Automation and RobotWorx have all three achieved Robot Integrator Certification through the Robotic Industries Association (RIA). As part of the certification, several of the company’s manufacturing technicians successfully completed the compliance program that recognizes high-level robotics capabilities and expertise.
“Achieving this certification shows ASG’s continued commitment in developing high levels of proficiency, depth of knowledge, and expertise in the areas of safety compliance and robotic systems integration” says Douglas Wright, Technical Services Manager at ASG Jergens. “This certification gives us standing amongst our peers. When speaking with potential customers, the question always comes up; ‘How do I know that you will be able to deliver what you are proposing?’ Now we can say with confidence, ‘RIA is the benchmark for safety, quality, and engineering capability; and they have certified ASG to that same standard.’”
“My goal is to expand Edgewater Automation’s expertise and knowledge in robotic integration. I am very proud that we are now a part of a distinguished group of companies that are committed to this process,” says Chad Henry, Director of Engineering at Edgewater Automation. “This certification not only strengthens our position in the market, but also demonstrates our desire to improve and provide better solutions to our customers.”
“We are very excited to be the newest RIA Certified Integrator! The certification validates our ability to supply high quality industrial robot products with excellent customer service” says Carl Faulkner, Service and EHS Coordinator at RobotWorx. “We are proud to have over 26 years of experience integrating robots, which is also quite an accomplishment in this industry.”
“We are delighted that ASG Jergens, Edgewater Automation and RobotWorx have joined our growing list of RIA Certified Robot Integrators,” said Jeff Burnstein, President of RIA. “The Certified Robot Integrator program strengthens the overall integrator channel and allows integrators to benchmark their own processes against best industry practices. Based on industry feedback, we have found that achieving certification has proven to be valuable for integrators looking to showcase their capabilities to both users and suppliers.”
RIA requires each certified integrator to be recertified every two years.
