Hy-Tek Material Handling promotes integrated systems president
Hy-Tek Material Handling, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Tom Mann to Integrated Systems Division President. Integrated Systems is one of four divisions operated by Columbus, Ohio-based Hy-Tek. In addition, Hy-Tek operates Mobile Equipment, Lighting Solutions, and Storage & Handling Divisions—all of which are dedicated to delivering cost-effective, efficient solutions for every material handling application in a broad range of industries. Mann’s appointment was announced by Hy-Tek CEO Samuel Grooms. As president, Mann will be responsible for growing the Integrated Systems Division nationally. Based in Greater Cincinnati, Mann oversees a team of experienced engineering, sales, logistics and project management professionals working out of Hy-Tek offices in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis, New Jersey and Philadelphia. An Integrated Systems specialist with three decades of industry experience, Mann has been with Hy-Tek for 11 years. He served as Sr. VP of Integrated Systems prior to his promotion. “Tom Mann is a tremendous asset. His professional reputation and relationships have helped boost our business and bottom-line. Tom recently spearheaded the opening of Hy-Tek’s New Jersey office, resulting in a $6 million contract from a major national retailer—within 60 days of our grand opening. That’s just one of many Fortune 500 contracts that Tom’s division has delivered. With Tom Mann at the helm of Integrated Systems, Hy-Tek Integrated Systems/New Jersey is on track to generate sales of $15 million its first year. We look forward to expanding Hy-Tek’s presence and delivering hands-on sales, service and support to manufacturers and distributors throughout New Jersey, the East Coast, and the entire country,” said Grooms.
Integrated Systems President Tom Mann attributes the division’s success to the fact that everyone at Hy-Tek shares a common goal. “As an ESOP, we have 100 employee-owners who are fully committed and incentivized to get the job done. The secret of Hy-Tek’s success is a relatively simple recipe: Hire talented, dedicated people, and empower them to do what they do best. My promotion and the performance of Integrated Systems would not be possible without the dedication and drive of the entire Hy-Tek team. Armed with a companywide can- do attitude, there’s no limit to what we can achieve,” said Mann.
