A new trial date has been set yet again in the death of James Schueler, the executive vice president and general manager of Forklifts of Toledo.
Mark A. Langlois, 50, appeared before Lucas County, Ohio, Judge Dean Mandros for a pretrial hearing earlier this month, during which a September 27 trial date was vacated.
Mandros has set a new trial date of Monday, November14.
Langlois has pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated murder and an alternate count of murder. He is being held in the Lucas County jail on a $1.5 million bond ($750,000 on each count).
A Motion to Suppress hearing scheduled for September 16 was also vacated earlier this month. The Motion to Suppress hearing has been rescheduled for Friday, October 28. As grounds for the motion, Langlois claims he invoked his right to silence on Jan. 28, when questioned about the death of James Schueler.
